Graham has handled crisis-communications assignments for some of the world’s best-known companies and has supported MTI in the UK for the past 10 years.
A former UK Board director of one of the world’s largest communications companies, he has provided high-level strategic advice to conglomerates in sectors ranging from shipping and nuclear to transportation and chemicals. A former award-winning newspaper editor, he was instrumental in building two of the largest and most successful independent PR consultancies in the UK.
Graham, who is based in Glasgow, Scotland, has carried out media training for global brands across Europe and continues to be recognised as a leading issues-management specialist, having handled major assignments for multi-nationals from North America to Asia. These have included everything from an oil slick in the Philippines and a tanker adrift in the Indian Ocean to the capsizing of a tug in Scotland. He also ran a successful media and political campaign to save the North Sea emergency response and rescue fleet.
His other assignments have ranged from handling industrial blackmail for a US computer giant and various nuclear emergency incidents across the UK to animal welfare brutality in West Virginia, the Dunblane Primary School massacre in Scotland and explosions and a bomb threat at chemical plants in England, France and Italy.
